When A Nightmare on Elm Street 4:The Dream Master opened in 1988, I remember every kid and teen planning their midnight screenings.TV news stations reported that Freddy mania had arrived with the introduction of Freddy’s Nightmares also that year. I was just a (dream)child, but managed to catch the behind the scenes special on USA. Since then it’s been a hardcore favorite. Later on, I managed to get my own copy on VHS. Joey has always been a fan favorite, he’s a real hero with the dream power to yell Freddy to oblivion in part 3.
